Alternatives

Kickresume alternatives, from builders to job matching

Kickresume is a resume and cover-letter builder with templates, an AI writer, an ATS checker, a job board and an AI job matcher. We make MatchRadar, one of the alternatives below, so read this with that in mind. The facts about the other products come from their own pages, read on 30 September 2026.

What Kickresume does

Kickresume's free plan includes four basic resume templates, a library of pre-written phrases and unlimited downloads. Premium costs €24 a month, €54 a quarter, or €96 a year, the equivalent of €8 a month, with a 14-day money-back guarantee. It adds resume tailoring, the AI writer and an ATS checker, and there are iOS and Android apps.

It also has a searchable job board and an AI Job Matcher that matches your resume to openings and invites you to come back for new matches every day. The matches are in the app; we found no description of them being e-mailed.

When another tool fits better

Kickresume's centre of gravity is the document. The alternatives are each stronger at a step before or after it.

  • You want unlimited resumes and tracking for free: Teal
  • You need to know how a resume reads to a specific applicant tracking system: Jobscan
  • You apply often and want each application faster: Huntr
  • You want the matching jobs to come to you by e-mail, explained: MatchRadar

The alternatives, one by one

Teal gives unlimited resumes and unlimited job tracking free, with limited AI credits; Teal+ is $29 per 30 days or $79 per 90. It has a Chrome extension and a job search with saved-search alerts.

Jobscan compares a resume with a job description for applicant tracking systems and names the missing keywords and formatting problems. Five scans a month are free; paid plans are $49.95 a month or $89.95 a quarter.

Huntr's free plan tracks up to 100 jobs, with two tailored resumes and unlimited application autofills; Pro is $40 a month.

Where MatchRadar fits, and where it does not

MatchRadar starts from the resume you already have and does not edit it. It reads the CV and the preferences you confirm, compares each new posting with the whole CV every weekday night, and e-mails the few that fit at 08:30, each with the requirements you meet, the partial ones and the gaps. It reads employers' own career sites in Europe and the US, the EU's EURES register and a few aggregators.

It has no templates, no writer and no ATS checker, so it does not replace Kickresume's builder. On a paid plan a person reads your CV twice a year and tells you what to change, which none of the others offers. One plan, seven-day trial, no card (pricing); the free preview shows this week's matches without an account.
